Peggy, my grandmother made me a cap like the one pictured above for Christmas one year. It was the best hat I ever had and even looked good on my not-hat-friendly head. My mom shrunk the hat in the wash and I was heart broken. The following year I asked Grandma to make me another one, which she did, but it was not quite the same. Thank you for the memory.
Wow! Beautiful! Just like heaven on earth!
Is this the same lake nearby your house, Peggy?
It is so beautiful, isn’t it 🙂 This is the small river that flows through our valley. It runs through the woods where we walk so we love to see it and listen to the water as it hurries along 🙂
